one hundred eighty degrees
falls in a haiku
cold spider descends
called by the candles promise
silk snaps, flame grows red
restless bat, pray you
find your way out of my hut –
fear is not your own
john elway and friends
who share super bowls with colts:
anumodana!
two bean burritos
no onions, extra red sauce…
run for the border
finding beauty in form,
accomplished poets simplify
truth therein. i am
no such poet
winter wind, sathu!
hearing your sincerity
cools my aching head
blinding winter snow
provides no excuse why the
peacock woo’d a rock
delirious mind!
make like a pine leaf and scram.
five, four, three, two, one!
do samurai swords
come with lifetime warranties
for Tarentino?
longing incarnates
sorrow incarnates searching
incarnates Buddho
loving spaciousness
follows that which is aware
into healthy hearts
return to the breath
then come back to the feet, then
return to the breath
have presence of mind
to be present in body:
satipatthana
“women are nature
explore their safe fertile fields”
… i know you Mara
with The Deathless One
we would look from the backseat
as he turned the Wheel of the Dhamma
